If you are a real estate agent trying to find ways to get traffic to your site, here are a some of the things we've used, or are using, to generate traffic to REindex.com, The Site Enginesm. For Real Estate Agents trying to get site traffic. (Part 2 of 7) Second Suggestion: You can use a few traffic generators. These sites will send you traffic based on the time you spend looking at their members' sites. Some are easier than others and some take less time than others. When you join, your site is put into the rotation depending on how many other member's sites you look at. For example, Traffic Splash will let you view 250 sites in about 45 minutes. Traffic Pods will take a little longer, and TrafficG is the slowest. If you sign up for all three of these, you can surf all three at the same time (in different windows) so you only use a little time to get the most traffic. With as little as 45 minutes per day you may get the increased traffic you are looking for. Some programmers will tell you that this second kind of traffic is not useful for real estate, but that is only if you are not consistent with it. Many of the sites you have to view are only trying to sell you more traffic generation or get you on their email list. This is actually good news if you have real content, because that means when your site comes up in the rotation, the surfers will actually have something to look at. Generating any amount of traffic takes time. As your traffic increases, some search engine computers may weight your site based partially on the amount of traffic. (This is how Alexa ranks work. The more alexa tool bar users that see your site, the higher your ranking. The problem is that their tool bar is not widely used.) Regular traffic to a site can indicate to a search engine that a site is good. |
