Third suggestion: Buy ads. Some sites sell links, and of course all the search engines make their money that way. You can pay by the number of clicks your ad gets (PPC), by the result of an action on your site (PPA), and by whether you close a deal (harder to impliment)(PPL). Be aware that any pay-per-click ads will have "click fraud" at some point. Click fraud is when you have to pay for clicks that aren't qualified. For example and agent sets a $100 limit for clicks on an ad. If a competitor clicks on the ad until the $100 is spent, there is technically click fraud. There is no law or enforcement group overseeing this activity, so be careful. As for the results type of campaigns, you may still find it hard to get qualified results often enough to be worth the time. Results campaigns require specific tracking and reporting. (Of course this another for REindex. REindex links to listing agent sites for free.) |
